BASIC RENTAL CONDITIONS

Hirers are responsible for all damage to or loss of the bike during the period of hire up to the replacement cost of the bike if stolen (general wear and tear is excluded e.g. brake pads, tyre wear.) Please note that our bikes are not insured whilst out of our locked chalet garages.

A deposit (credit card number and signature of authorisation) is required for all bike hire. A passport and advance cash payment for the full rental will be taken if the hirer does not have a credit card.

Hirers are responsible for their own safety whilst riding the bike hired to them by endlessride. We advise that a helmet and protective clothing are worn at all times. Although every care is taken to ensure that the bike is in full working order, parts are liable to malfunction at any time.

Full terms and conditions are available on request.

OUR 2010 FLEET OF RENTAL BIKES

Following on from the success of our rental fleets in previous years we have again chosen Orange Mountain Bikes to supply our bikes.

ALPINE 160

Here's what Orange have to say "A couple of years ago we created the Alpine Five, an elusive big-mountain dream machine with a production run of just 25 (quite a few ended up here at Endlessride). Today, after subtle refinements made in response to worldwide testing and rider feedback, we present the Alpine 160 – the go-anywhere thoroughbred you’ve all been waiting for. This is a mountain bike that lives up to it's name! Built for big ups, big downs and big mountains. If you're up for super-size adventures, look no further." We will have 16" and 18" frame sizes.

We also have one of the limted run of 25 original Alpine 5's available for rent in an 18" frame size.

ORANGE BLOOD

Singletrack Reader AwardsWinner of the 2009 Singletrack readers award for the 'Best New Bike' the Blood’s unique combination of ‘big bike’ geometry with ‘trail riding’ travel has gone down a storm.

Orange say 'With their mixture of man-made and natural features we all know that trails aren’t what they used to be, but if you’re lucky enough to ride a Blood, that’s no bad thing. The first of our bigger-hitting bikes to feature a tough but neat rocker link, the Blood delivers a stiff and super‑responsive ride. A sweet-handling trail and slopestyle bike with a massive fun factor, and a bike you can still pedal anywhere – the Blood doesn’t rewrite the rules, it bins them altogether.'

Orange Blood

We have one bike in a 17" frame size.

ORANGE 5

The 5 has been around for a few years now but it remains a great all rounder and its perfect for the lighter rider. Here's what Orange have to say "While all of our bikes could claim to be ideal for all riding, it depends on what your idea of ‘riding’ entails. Some riders never leave the ground and never let their heart rates drop below redline. Others spend more time sliding through turns, airborne or just plain larking around. Who makes a bike for all of them? Well, we do, and it’s the Five." We have the 5 in a 16" frame size.

BRINGING YOUR OWN BIKE

Many people are worried that if they bring their own bike it will go missing or get damaged during the flight. In our time of operating in Morzine just one guest's bike has been damaged in transit. A well packed bike should travel without incident, click the link to find out more about packing your bike.

If you do bring your own bike please ensure that it is in good working order before you arrive. A weeks solid riding in this area can be equivalent to a years riding at home in terms of wear and tear on the parts of your bike.

Replace your brake blocks/pads and bring at least one spare pair - especially for disc brakes. Make sure your tyres have a good amount of tread left on them, in the space of the week you'll encounter dry, dusty, rocky, rooty, wet, muddy and even snowy trails.

Look at your forks and shock, how long have you had them, when were they last serviced? A seized fork or shock can really spoil your holiday. A broken gear hanger will be just as annoying, bring a spare with you as you won't get a replacement in resort.

If your bike has any unusual parts consider bringing spares with you. We stock a range of spares suitable for our bikes (so mainly Shimano and Hope bits) and there is a limited range of bits in resort but some things can be impossible to get hold of.

If something does go wrong while you are with us our mechanics will endeavour to fix the problem for you. We'd prefer that you were out riding than sat sunbathing at the chalet!

Please feel free to call and ask us if you have an concerns about bringing your own bike.
